“We have contracted Panamerican Construction twice for home improvements on our Alexandria, Virginia home. The first time, in 2010, for a complete overhaul of the kitchen and both full baths upstairs, as well as refinishing the wood floors throughout the home and assorted other repairs and upgrades. The second time, in 2013, to construct a new asphalt driveway, concrete retaining wall, and concrete walkway to the main front entry.
Both times we have been extremely pleased with the results, and impressed with company president Susana Mercado’s professionalism and service. Ms. Mercado listened attentively to what we wanted, gave us different options and price ranges to choose from, submitted a detailed written estimate and timeline for the work, and -most appreciated-delivered on time and within budget.
She supervised the work personally, and kept us informed of the progress. She also returned phone calls and emails promptly. All in all, a pleasure to work with. We will not hesitate to reach out to Ms. Mercado with future home improvement projects!”

“I am happy to recommend Panamerican Constructions LLC to anyone in need of responsible, painstaking, quality repair work for home or office. Panamerican took charge of repairs and painting for a family home I recently put on the market. The house was basically sound, but old and in need of cleaning, patching, plastering, and painting. I got a thorough inspection and advice on what needed doing from manager Susana Mercado and straw boss Andrea Abreu. They are a pleasure to work with-helpful, cooperative, and understanding. Their excellent crew showed bright and early every day and put in a full day’s work. Panamerican covered everything from hauling away trash to roof repair to scraping and painting to mending the crack in the front steps, which meant I didn’t need to deal with separate contractors for each phase of the work, a great relief at a stressful time. Everyone was courteous and cooperative, so the work went smoothly and with no hitches. When they were finished I had a house that looked like new-clean, bright, newly painted, and ready for new owners to move in.
As testament to the good work of Panamerican Constructions, the house sold in one weekend. Couldn’t have done it without them.
